The Star-Spangled Banner

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra celebrated the 200th Anniversary of The Star-Spangled Banner, uncovering the history of the early American Mid-Atlantic and Francis Scott Key’s role in the creation of the national anthem. 

 

Concerts were performed by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Conductor Ken Lam, Narrator and National Parks Service Chief Interpreter for Fort McHenry Ranger Vince Vaise, Living Historians from Fort McHenry, Fort McHenry Fife and Drum Corp. alongside collected Images from the Maryland Historical Society.
